There is no fixed definition for Long-haul, each airline has it's own meaning for this term, however, this is a pretty good way of defining flights:
Short Haul: If the crew can turn around and do it again in the same day.
Medium Haul: If one crew can serve the entire duration of the flight, but that ends the work day for that crew (save for a short "continuation" leg).
Long Haul: If more than one crew needs to serve the route due to flight regulations.
