Install OS X on my AMD PC?
I want to install Apple Mac OS X on my AMD PC.
My specs are...
AMD Athlon 64 2800+
80GB IDE HDD
SiS PCI 900 Chip set
1GB DDR RAM
Nvidia GeForce 6200 AGP or ATi Radeon X1650 APG graphics card (I can use either)
Can you help me please, I've been trying to use 'Snow Leopard 10.6.1/10.6.2 SSE2/SSE3 for Intel and AMD by Hazard but it just sticks on the shiny Apple logo after setup completes.
Has anyone done this before with a computer with my spec? please help 
I'm trying setup again with a Mobdin kernel that supports AMD, fingers crossed it'll work.
BTW i dont really care if it is illegal, I'm trying it out before I buy an iMac or Mac Pro. If I don't like it I'll go back to Linux on that machine, if I do I'll go and buy a Mac
Will not work on non apple hardware unless you go the hackintosh route than it's illegal. You could do the alternative and install ubuntu than mcbuntu which will make ubuntu mimic the look and feel of os x.
