Cannot seem to connect PC to internet via ethernet cable, new router.?
Had USB modem, then got PS3 and wanted to play online. So I got a 3Com OfficeConnect ADSL wireless 54Mbps 11g firewall router. PS3 connects great (both wireless and ethernet), so does PSP. But my PC cannot seem to access the internet (via ethernet, not wireless enabled), PC LAN connection. What is wrong, have i not set-up the connection properly. I have tried to fix it, but basically i am lost? Also i am with Orange Broadband, dont know if its important.
The router must be set up correctly for your other devices to connect to broadband, I'd say the problem lies with your network settings on the computer, but without knowing more about that end of things it's pretty difficult to give an authoritative answer.
