I need help trying to connect my laptop to my hdtv using a vga to hdmi connection?
Im trying to connect my laptop that only has VGA connection to my hdtv that does not have a VGA connection. i have a hdmi to vga cable. Am i missing something? what steps do i need to take?
Once you have the two connected. You will have to go into display on your laptop and have the image shared/extended to the vga port. this should get the image to the hdtv. This will only give you picture, you will have to use your sound port to your tv to get sound, possibly another jumper cable or converter box.
