Remove Cisco partitions from 2GB Compact Flash?
I have a Transcend 2GB CF that was pulled from a Cisco system and am looking for a way to remove the partitions. I've tried using the windows partitioning feature on it but it tells me that windows is unable to partition the device, although it can see all four partitions currently on it. Bootdisk-based software does not detect the CF since it is plugged into a USB port. Anyone know of a method to free up the partitions on this CF so that I can used the full capacity of the card for storage?
I forgot to mention that this CF, being a full size Compact Flash card dow not have any external means of enabling or disabling read/write protection.
Disk management, also make sure the R/W switch is set to unlocked.
