How do I know what sound driver to download on my acer laptop?
I need a sound card for my Acer laptop. I made attempt to download the drivers from the net but I couldnt get that as drivers are available by names. At the back of the laptop, the model number is stated as "Green733" while online Acer laptops are classed as either travelmate, Aspire,Notebooks or tablet PCs. Or are there universally accepted drivers? Just in case anyone has a similar type, my laptop has a 17 inch screen. Next to the screen sits three extra silver buttons just before "F1 to F12" numbering on the keyboard (labels are 1. i, 2. the on/off button (biggest one) 3. Letter shape to indicated email). The laptop comes with a DVD drive, 2 USB port, 2 serial ports (1 big, 1 small), an internal microphone, port for network card, network ports (one behind the screen for lan, while the other next to the DVD drive for dail-up),infra-red port and inlets for microphone and speakers. Any suggestions?
