What would be the best core 2 duo with motherboard combination?
Intel has come out with a Quad Core CPU which is in the lead for right now.
However, that might be overkill for what you are trying to do and for what you're mainboard (motherboard) can handle.
For instance if you are doing moderate pc computing a Dual Core CPU might be all you need. It's better to research for a CPU by listing what you are going to use it for unless you are just out to build the latest and greatest and don't care about the cost aspect.
