How much to replace fan on dell inspiron 2200?
I have run speedfan on my dell inspiron 2200. my fan1 is to fast at about 4000 rpm. and my temp1 is 81C. I need to know how to fix this so that my computer runs right. I called tech support for dell, my comp is out of warrenty, but she sai dthe fan wasn't colling the laptop. So I was wondering how much it would be to replace the fan, and if it would be worth it. Or if I should just use a colling pad and get as much usage out of it as I can til it fries.
