WRT54g antenna hack?
The new routers above version 4 do not have removable antennae anymore. There arent any connectors and the rubber duckys are wired directly to the circuit board. Anyone know of an article on how to put tnc or sma bulkheads on them? The LMR coax inside is so small (.045 O.D.) and I am afraid to attempt soldering coax to the pc board as the pads are too small.
There is NO WAY without soldering to the pads! (Sorry)

A very small soldering iron tip and careful work will allow this to be done. You can try splicing the exisiting coax, but that will result in major signal loss as coax isn't designed to be spliced!
Adding different connectors to the antenna end requires very expensive pressing equipment. So soldering the pads is the best field solution.
