I have an ADSL cable Router with 4 LAN ports.If i add Wireless Access Point to one LAN port then how IPs asign
I’m asking this because ADSL Router assigns only 4 IP address for each of it’s 4 LAN ports. So when added a Wireless Access Point to one of its LAN port the Wireless Access Point will only get 1 IP address. Then when I need to connect more than one Wireless device I need to know how the IP addresses are assign to them. And if I need to make a Workgroup network including the wireless devices will it work?
If DHCP is enabled, wireless will connect as many computers as it allots IP addresses. Most routers default to 50 IP's that can assign, but the utility should allow you to adjust that if you want.
