What is an SAS connector?
I am a nerd, so I should know this, right?
Apparently, a "new" type of connector is called SAS, as opposed to SCSI, SATA, and or IDE. What is this, and what is it used for? dvd drives? hdd drives?
I looked them up, but apparently they are so new, that no one has info on them -.-
From what I gather, they are just another version of sata and scsi....can someone please give me some sort of reading material? thanks a bunch.
SAS = Serial Attached SCSI. It's an evolution on the SCSI interface for very high-speed hard drives.
