What type of glue to use to fix my laptop power jack?
I know this is a veritable fix, so please no one answer with "no use solder not glue" - this is the problem, the solder isn't strong enough (solder is NOT AN ADHESIVE). I am going to resolder it, but I'll be using glue/resin as well.
For additional support I wish to resin or superglue the jack against the silicon surface of the motherboard. Any suggestions what glue to use?
to be honest, if you have soldering experience then this should be enough.
if not then any standard house hold adhesive should do it as long as it strong enough...unlike pritt stick
