Is it worth replacing my inverter board?
The inverter board on my LCD TV has gone, and I need to replace it. Should I buy one and repair the TV myself (which would be a struggle for me, and possibly costly), or should I buy a new TV (my preferred option, as my current TV is only 15")?
Extra: I think it is the inverter board which is faulty; the picture appears for about 1-2 seconds, then goes, and I've tried the trick with a torch on the screen and seeing faint images at an angle.
If you think you can get an inverter board, you can try. Otherwise sell it as is.
If it were me, exhausting getting the inverter board working, I would see if I can make LEDs work.
