Help with HP Printer?

I have an HP3800 laserjet printer here @ work that is getting on my last nerves. We have to reset it (on/off-which cant be good) constantly to get it to print. It has a jetdirect 615n print server installed so everyone on the network can print. Im thinking of getting a new print server...there is definitely connectivity issues with this printer. Any other possible solutions??
I pinged the IP address and I got request timed out...great

We have had to replace several of the HP 615n print servers. They seem to have weak electronics in them, so that is a definite possibility.
The other thing that comes to mind is setting the connection speed to 10 Mb/s (it won't slow the printer down as it can't print that fast) and set the corresponding port on the switch to the same speed. This has helped us in several cases. Changing ports on the switch is another possibility if you have not already done so to eliminate a possible bad port.
