How do i increase my connection speed on xbox live?
i have a d-link dvg- 1402S router wired connected to my xbox360. i ahve checked the list for approved xbox routers and mine is a newer or higher model. My router shoudl work fast but it is not competing with ym friends older version of d-link which have perfect connection to xbox live. my internet connection i think is great, i have fast page pop-ups, etc. can someoen tell me a what to do in order for me to conenct to xbox live games and system faster then i already do?

Btw my friends have the same internet provider and if i do need to increase my internet connection where and how can i do it? also would buying one of the xbox approved routers help my connection speed?
Speed varies from location. You friend might get 6mbps and you might get 4. only thing i can say is get a line filter, unplug the phone from the same line or buy a upgrade for speed
