How far can I run fiber between two identical switches using the SFP ports? (connecting two buildings)?
The buildings are about 1/4 mile apart, and they are going to begin trenching our fiber next week. I was just going to pickup two identical SMC Gig-E switches with the SFP slots hoping thats all I needed. Please tell me I'm right.. heh.. thanks!
