Can i use an indoor wireless access point for outdoor purpose?
I mean with use of an external antenna can increase range of wireless access point? or i need sth like signal amplifier?
I had a Linksys N wireless router with dual antennas and a Linksys N USB wifi card in my Laptop, I could walk over to my neighbors house (> 100 yards away) and still get a signal so long as I was outside their house. It wasn't a fast signal at that distance but I could surf the web if I didn't mind waiting. Anywhere inside or around my house it worked awesome.
