Planning to be in Japan for 1 month and a half (Dec-Jan). A japanese friend told me that I could rent a USB from e-mobile that allows internet access for my trip and the USB is returned to the shop where you rented it from. Is this possible?
If you already have a USB modem , they contain a simm card like a cell phone so maybe you just have to swap it out, or check with your ISP to see if you can put existing one on roam to pick up Japanese ISP, may be more expensive but another option? Renting is a possibility, but you may get poor coverage and if you loose it you out of a deposit?
