My internet won't work when i plug in a router?
I just got a new comp and its windows vista, i have road runner service and i have a belkin wireless g router f5d7230-4. My modem is arris touchstone. I tried to plug the modem into the router and the router into the computer but when it's all plugged in it doesn't connect to the internet (both desktop and laptops) but it works fine when u plug the modem into the computer. When i try putting in the cd that came with the router but it won't install unless i get a connection.
read your router manual and set it up! IT'S A MUST.... if you don't want then you have to go to Best Buy and get Geek Squad to set it up for you but it will like $100...
