I'm aware of how dual channel works and where to plug them in and what not, but how do I know if my motherboard is detecting it as dual channel or not? Also what do you think is better, 2GB in dual channel, or 3GB no dual channel?
In the bios will usually say if dual channel mode is active.
There is also a program you can use called cpu-z which i believe can tell you. I think belarc can as well.
2gb dual channel is going to be better if you looking for faster speed in throughput.
3gb is going to run normal.
