I need advice on a Indoor Antenna for a HDTV to get stations further away?
I get good reception of local stations and even some around 75 miles away, I do not need cable, I use an inside antenna.
I just bought a HDTV and want to know what is the best inside antenna to try to get stations that are a little distant. Also, is it best to get an amplified antenna?
It all depends on where your home is in relation to the TV Towers.
Go to www.antennaweb.org and type in your address and it will show you a map of where the TV towers are around your home.
If you can get away with a indoor antenna - search for a "Phillips Silver Sensor - classic version" antenna. I loan mine out to people from work after they announce they bought a new HDTV and 6 out of 7 people have run out to buy their own after trying mine.
