She finally arrived!?
For everyone that has been kind and answered my questions throughout, my baby girl arrived on 08-25-2009 at 6:20am via emergency c-section weighing 8lbs 2.4oz and 21 1/4 inches long. Her name is Mackenzie Lynn.
I went in on 8-24 for an induction. My doc got my contractions going and I did lots of walking. By 7pm that night my doctor broke my water and gave me pitosin in an iv since my contractions were 3 min apart and needed to be stronger. The pitosin wasn't making the contractions stronger so they upped the pitosin a little bit and every time they did that my babies heart rate would flat line. That is when my doc decided to do an emergency c-section.
When she was born, we found out she had flipped from head down into the transverse position and had the cord wrapped around her ankle which she was holding onto. Even after all that, it was worth it.
